]]> http://www.toodoobuckhead.com/john/98/atlanta-among-worst-cities-for-walking/feed/ 0 http://www.toodoobuckhead.com/john/35/twelve-hour-fun-run/ http://www.toodoobuckhead.com/john/35/twelve-hour-fun-run/#comments Sun, 16 Aug 2009 19:57:40 +0000 John http://www.toodoobuckhead.com/john/?p=35 This morning some of the crazier residents of Buckhead and Brookhaven are participating in a twelve hour fun run.  Yes, I did just write the phrase twelve hour fun run in the same sentence.  The runners, joggers and walkers are planning to do their thing from 7:00am to 7:00 pm in the Brookhaven Heights neighborhood (located at the corner of Peachtree Road and Colonial Drive behind the shopping center containing the Kroger and Starbucks).  It is a loop course that is mostly on Standard Drive and Pine Grove Road.  The organizer is planning to go the full twelve hours and he has encouraged everyone to come run, walk or jog with him for as little or as long as they would like to participate.  Come on out for an hour or two or twelve.
