Another Recession Casualty
Unfortunately the ugly recession has claimed another business casualty in Buckhead. Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion closed last week. The upscale Polynesian-style restaurant, which was located at the corner of Lenox Road and Piedmont Road, opened in 2001. It was one of a chain of thirty-three Roy’s restaurants around the world. The first Roy’s opened in Honolulu in 1988. I have eaten at the Buckhead and Maui locations and they were both excellent. It is certainly sad to see our Buckhead Roy’s go away.
