Recycling- Not Just Aluminum Cans Anymore
You would be surprised at how many things can be recycled these days. Additionally, it is easier than ever to participate in recycling. Now residents of Buckhead can have their recyclables picked up from their houses by a service offered by the City of Atlanta. You will need to call 404-330-6333 to order a recycling bin to get started. Or if you don’t have a recycling bin you can use a large container so long as it is labeled “recycling” on the outside of the container or on the lid.
The city will pick up recyclables on a weekly basis on the same day as trash pickup. The city is making a big push to increase the amount of recycling in Buckhead and throughout the city. The items that can be collected include: glass, paper, aluminum and tin cans, and household plastics. Please don’t wait around any longer and get started recycling today.
